Restoring Rights For Native Americans – Part II – At the University of Tulsa’s Gilcrease Museum, current policy makers, tribal leaders, and contemporary experts on Native American issues, evaluated the long term impact of the 37th President’s Federal Indian policy. Panelists included Philip S. DeLoria, Director of the American Indian Graduate Center; LaDonna Harris, President of Americans for Indian Opportunity; Robert Anderson, Director of the Native American Law Center at the University of Washington; and Hillary C. Tompkins, Solicitor of the US Department of the Interior.
